Kangra Hills, from an ATR flight.

The flight from Dharamsala takes off at 4.40 pm. The ATR flies real low, however the view ofthe Kangra hills and the Dhauladhar makes it worth it. As we flew suddenly sunlight reflected on a golden snake which was Beas river.

This was a large canvas, one of my baby steps in painting. Do you see this as a dark painting or a peaceful and strong one ?

Moon Rise over the hills

The moonrise was beautiful, but the painting ended up as an experiment in colour combinations.

Feng Shui Roses

Well, this is the only oil painting I did on my trip to Himachal. The old rose bush was familiar as well as inspiring. Post painting I was reading up on Feng Shui and came across a post which said 5 roses are for eternal love, the roses thus made a lovely present for mum : )
